Kanga Hybrid Half-Buckles

Introducing the new Hybrid-J and Hybrid-XT! I wanted these carriers to have as much of the fit and feel of the Kanga SSC's as I could make them but with the versatility of mei tai straps for those who need them.

Like the Kanga SSC's, the Hybrids have NO SHOULDER SEAMS! How many horror stories have we all heard about mei tai straps ripping off the body? This is the largest stress point in a mei tai or half buckle. A shoulder strap ripping off a Kanga is about as likely as getting abducted by aliens and winning the lottery all on the same day!

Here are the features of the Hybrid-XT carrier-

  • Same all fabric, structured, buckle waist found on all Kanga buckle carriers
  • Body - 17" wide at the point where the child sits
  • Padded leg openings
  • 16" tall where the child's arms would come over the top
  • Center body - 11" tall + 7" head/backrest
  • *Very slightly* contoured
  • Customs will be available soon with optional hood
